In May and June
during our focus effort on topics related to vascular neurosurgery, we would be
remiss if we didn’t recognize that May is National Stroke Awareness Month. To this end, throughout May,
we will be highlighting several #strokemonth video blogs to help raise
awareness about this important topic.
Stroke is the fifth leading cause of death and is the number one cause of disability in the United States, and a significant public health problem worldwide. In the video below, neurosurgeon Justin A. Singer, MD, highlights that when stroke strikes, it’s important to get help fast!
