during our focus effort on topics related to vascular neurosurgery, we would be
remiss if we didn’t recognize that May is National Stroke Awareness Month. To this end, throughout
May, we will be highlighting several #strokemonth video blogs to help raise
awareness about this important topic.
Stroke is a leading cause of disability. When stroke strikes, it impacts not only individual, but their families, friends and communities. In the video below, neurosurgeon Brian L. Hoh, MD, FACS, FAHA, FAANS, takes a moment to reflect about the need to do everything we can to prevent and treat stroke.
