Most people aren’t aware that by 2025 the nation faces a huge shortfall of doctors — including 37,000 to 60,000 specialists. Since Neurosurgery Blog has spent the last month focusing on graduate medical education (GME), we wanted to take a moment to highlight medical resident “Match Day” and the looming shortage of doctors.
